Profile ~ DOB-1701
My name is Sarai
and I was born in Santa Maria, California in
1998. This is
my first year at San Jacinto College and I’m majoring in
communications. Afterward, I plan to attend the
University of Houston to earn my masters in English
Literature. I never gave up on my dream, as hard as it
was having 3 small children, it always shined through. I
kept motivating myself that I had to go to college and
become the person I’m supposed to be. I hope my
daughters look up to me some day and say, “If you can do
it Mommy, so can I!” I’m really happy to be able to
share my story with everyone and appreciate the
opportunity the Houston Post has given me. I will do my
best to inspire and motivate anyone willing to read my
blog everyday, online or weekly in the Houston Post
printed edition. Anything is possible if you put your
mind to it and for that I am proof. What an important
lesson for the youth of our community. I hope everyone
enjoys my articles in the future and thank goodness for
all the wonderful times ahead which are sure to come,
“Good Day!”
