Bandera is a little town in the Texas Hill Country and it calls
itself the cowboy capital of the world. Their Main Street is
just one small street but on Saturday’s, it comes alive with
cowboys, covered wagons and gunfight reenactments. Bandera is a

wagons and gunfight re-enactments. I actually spent a weekend
rendezvous there with my wife years ago and the little cabin we
stayed in was amazing. What wasn’t amazing was our canoe trip.
We scheduled a fun relaxing canoe ride down the river but it
wasn’t relaxing. It had just rained the night before so the
water was rushing and our canoe flipped over 3 or 4 times. I ’m
writing this today only because I know how to swim, lol.
