Someone had the great idea to attach a Smartphone to a balloon in an attempt to set the record for the “highest livestream from Smartphone”. They strapped the phone to the balloon with a camera and a few altitude monitoring devices then set it off from the SSC Esrange Space Center in northern Sweden. The balloon was expected to burst at an altitude of 30,000 meters (98,425 ft)  but it burst at 18,421 meters. We’ll have to wait and see if Guinness legitimizes this unique feat.
