A professional golfer named Jim Furyk did something that has never been done before in a professional tournament yesterday, he shot a 58 (-12 under par). In golf, you keep score on each hole and the score is written on a scorecard kept by your playing partner. Usually two people play a round together at the same time while the tournament is in progress. After Furyk shot this amazing round his playing partner “Miguel Angel Carballo” mistakenly wrote down a score of 3 (birdie) after hole #14 but Jim actually made a 4 (par). Luckily Jim noticed the mistake and corrected it before signing the scorecard. If he would have signed it, he would have been disqualified from the tournament and the round would not have counted.
