I fell in love with her.
I held her hand and
kissed her goodnight.
We were perfect together.

It was slow but it was there.
We grew apart and
I almost didn't notice.
So when I did,
we met at the first and last
place we saw each other.

And I learned that night
that sometimes the most
beautiful people in our lives...
were meant to be left alone
to their own accord...
